Ledger Live is Ledger’s official wallet application that connects with Ledger® hardware wallets (such as Ledger Nano S Plus and Ledger Nano X) to securely manage private keys and transact with cryptocurrencies. It provides a user-friendly interface for account management, device firmware updates, app installation, portfolio tracking, and staking (where supported).

Ledger Live does not host your private keys — they remain on your Ledger® hardware device. “Logging in” to Ledger Live involves opening the app and connecting your Ledger device (via USB or Bluetooth for supported devices) and unlocking it with your PIN. The app will request cryptographic approvals from the device for sensitive actions like sending funds or installing apps.
